September 1 , 2006.

Dear Friends of TCS,

It is hard to believe that the summer is over!  It seems like just yesterday that TCS performed the last concert of its 30th Anniversary year. This summer has been a busy one for TCS. Auditions have been completed, new brochures have been printed, and plans are well underway for our exciting 2006-2007 season—complete with a newly commissioned work by Gwyneth Walker for our March concert!

Running an arts organization is a year-round business, and as always, the summer months can be especially challenging and most difficult for TCS. I write to you today to ask for a special contribution to help kick off our upcoming season. Your gift will help offset the expenses that TCS incurs to get the season up and running. I hope you agree that TCS is one of the finest choral ensembles in the Washington area with a most unique mission. Your support at this time will help ensure a strong start to our 31st season.

Contributions may be mailed to the TCS office at 1226 Vermont Avenue NW Washington, DC, 20005 or can be made through our newly redesigned Web site at www.thomascirclesingers.org. I urge you to be as generous as possible, and I thank you in advance for your unrelenting support of TCS as we continue to Transform the City through Song.

Most sincerely,

Scott F. Guzielek
Chair, Board of Directors

P.S.: 2006-2007 subscriptions are on sale now on our Web site—won't you consider joining us for all of our outstanding concerts this season. They are not to be missed!
