Rachel Phillips is serving as the Interim Executive Director, and has been part of The Thomas Circle Singers community for many years, serving as both Board Chair and Treasurer. A former Management Officer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, she brings both organizational insight and innovation to her work. Rachel holds an MBA and an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her published work explores the natural world, resilience, and memory. She believes in the power of music—and words—to bring people together and inspire reflection, values that lie at the heart of TCS’s mission to be voices that make a difference.
