Christmas with TCS

Celebrate the season with Thomas Circle Singers’ golden-anniversary Christmas concert! This festive program journeys from the quiet anticipation of Advent to the radiant joy of Christmas through music both familiar and new. Abbie Betinis’ Behind the Clouds reminds us that hope shines even in the darkest moments, while Elaine Hagenberg’s serene The Music of Stillness offers a moment of winter contemplation. Rhythmic settings by Tamsin Jones and Iain Farrington echo older musical styles, Michael Fili’s A Carol from Flanders recalls the humanity of the Christmas Truce of 1914, and Kevin Siegfried’s luminous cantata Vidimus Stellam traces the theme of light from Advent through Epiphany in a brilliant collaboration for choir and brass. Sing along with beloved carols and join us for an evening of warmth, wonder, and holiday tradition.
